GIRLS FOOTBALL

GIRLS FOOTBALL AT ASTLEY & BUCKSHAW JFC

Girls Football is central to Astley & Buckshaw’s future strategy.  The club are passionate about providing equal opportunities for girls to train and play football at one of most progressive junior football clubs in the Chorley Area.  Girls have always been welcome at the club, many have played in our mixed sex teams and in 2021 we introduced our very first girls team, now is the time to build on that team and create a full dedicated player pathway for the girls game from Under 5 to Under 18.

We hope to complement the existing girls teams around the Chorley area and provide new local opposition for the existing clubs and teams.

WE ARE RECRUITING PLAYERS!

GIRLS FOOTBALL :- WHATS ON OFFER?

The club will provide weekly training sessions at our Westway Sports Hub on the 3G with a pathway into the appropriate league teams.

The female program will be supporting with a strong team of UEFA qualified and experienced coaches from within the girls game.  Coaches bring experience of playing in the Manchester United Girls Academy and coaching experience from Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers Academy and Community setups.

The club are fortunate to have access to the best facilities in the local area and are keen to provide the same opportunities for girls which the boys currently enjoy.  The club is run be an ambitious committee with a proven track record of advancing the club for the players and coaches alike.
