Football and loyalty are not usually things that go hand in hand in the modern game. This statement cannot be applied to the following person however. Isaac Brown is 17 years old and part of our youth team. He has been a regular starter for the last 10 seasons at Astley & Buckshaw JFC from

when he joined their u/s team back in 2012.

Over the course of the decade with the club, Isaac has played centre half in every age group and racked up well over 200 games in total. Surprisingly over these appearances, he had only scored 5 goals!

He contributed massively to the U14 & U15 League titles being a mainstay in the team. 

At Astley & Buckshaw FC, we take immense pride in promoting the success of our players. Isaac is now the first ever player who has started with our u7s team to then go on and play in our brand new mens team, who will be playing in the football pyramid this season. Without the support of the junior club, multiple coaches and the philosophy the club promotes, Isaac would not have been given this amazing opportunity.
