When the Under 7s Greens came together at Christmas as late joiners to the Mid Lancs Colts league the players and parents where excited to go down to the Central Venue for the first time. A squad of 10 regularly attending and enjoyed getting used to match football.  Fast forward 3 months and it was tournament day and birthday parties and COVID played havoc with squad availability!  The 4 players who where available where outstanding and showed grit and determination beyond their years playing against squads of 8 and more to get through the group stages and into the quarter finals. The U7 Greens did themselves and Astley & Buckshaw proud!
